First I would like to tell you the story of how I got the name for One Little Twig. In 2004 I had decided to go to Indonesia on my first far away journey. I had been manufacturing a custom loom for bead weavers and really wanted to supply them with nice custom sterling silver clasp, to attach there bead work to. At this time I was living in a small town in southern Oregon and so I decided to learn how to fabricate jewelry. I took a class through the local college and worked on some jewelry pieces with a small group of 5 people once each week. The fabrication work was not easy and very time consuming. I soon realized that I would not be able to produce enough of the custom sterling clasp by myself to offer to my customers.   I came away from that class with a greater respect for jewelers.  I did some research and decided I liked the granulation silver work that the jewelry artist were doing in Bali, Indonesia. I booked a trip to Dempasar Bali and began to prepare for the journey. Before I left I went to yahoo and put in brightgreentree as my name and to secure this new email address. It was taken, and soon I became stressed with trying to find a name that I liked that would be available. I sat at my desk and suddenly One little twig came to my mind,  I typed it in and it was not taken. With a smile on my face I was then ready to begin my journey to Bali Indonesia! In search of jewelry makers to make my custom designed  sterling silver clasp.  Many experiences and many travels have passed since that time but One Little Twig has endured!
